After reaching the WAG9

Sure enough the satvahana express came throuh bhongir but on seeing
the wag9 the Satavahana driver let out a kind out trumpet symphony to
the WAG9 with horns and all the drivers(there were a few who were on
training i suppose) were peering through front glass starring at the
WAG9.,reached the loco and now some words on the finish of the
loco,CLW seems to have got their act together and the loco was
finished nicely without the usual weld marks etc etc, also the painting
and other finishing of wires and pipes was also very neat unlike other
CLW stuff, went over to the assistant and spoke to him for some
time, did not get into cab as a Loco inspector was around and he said
the rake stalled twice,he said the locos were good except for the
stalling which he said was due to bad sanding and he opined that once
it went to the shed it would be tuned and adjusted .,he said the loco
would go to sanathnagar with the load and then go light to lalaguda
where the shed name would be painted. The seating control panel and
other items were finished well and soon after we saw the loco
inspector came in ,he was on the other platform i told him why i was
here and he got in and soon enough the starter went amber

and i didnt have much time to snap and quickly clicked what i
could, then the loco inspector went ahead and pushed the TE lever oh so
gently and wheels moved smoothly ahead noiselessly,it was so quiet and
it was such a rewarding moment seeing this which made me forget all my
hunger my strain and sleep..the loco gently moved from the siding and
on the incoming line from SC and the Up line to SC,and then the loco
started picking up very slowly though as it was on the loop line,i
rushed to other side and called PVS who was really thrilled on the
phone to hear the news.. and i clicked the wdm3d banking the rake

when i speaking to him.... the whole rake cleared out of bhongir
station, now for the speed and pickup,i left bhongir immediately after
the rake and reached bibinagar in 25 min,the WAG9 picked up so well
with the banker it was at bibinagar station with DJ off when we
reached there i was really amazed that it covered over 15 kms of
1:100 grades in a little over 20 min with loop lines included.....as
it was getting late i rushed back to the bus and went onwards home
knowing that now the WAG9 was here to stay..After bibinagar the bus
guy slowed down a lot and took 1 hour to get me home and i came in
posted the pics ....

I would like to thank the entire SC gang including Bharath for all
the info without which this WAG9 special opp!!!!!!!! would not be
possible........

I will try and get more pictures of the WAG9 soon,i took a few normal
pic at bhongir which i did not post which i will members request...
